James Zhu: James Zhu is a 12th grade student at William Mason High School where he is mastering several subjects, most notably AP Literature. James is quite a well-rounded individual. As captain of the William Mason Math Team, James has led his school to top finishes in the state of Ohio’s most prestigious math competitions. Individually, he has placed as high as 2nd in the state in mathematics competitions. When not firing his fingers on a calculator, he is using them to play the violin. James has performed with several prestigious orchestras including the Mason High School Honors Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra. James is also active in his school’s Key Club, Science Olympiad, and Chinese National Honors Society.
